his sch shoes 2day. 1/3 o me wanted to cry, 1/3 o me wanted to really really really scold him, another 1/3 o me wanted to just toss the pair in the dumpster.
but then... it suddenly hit me: he's 7. & he's a boy. tis is just wat a normal, happy, adventurous 7-year old boy does. i was just like tis wen i was at that young age. i remember, on numerous occasions, getting home soaked in mud for playing 'polis sentri' or 'ram ram rep' or just simply running & chasing each other on the vast school field. bonda never complained much. & ayahanda was the one who washed my sch shoes clean wen he got back fr our fruit orchard...
blogging 'bout tis makes me smile... the earlier exhaustion now doesnt feel that pressing anymore... may tis boy who's sleeping peacefully beside me get a chance to enjoy a childhood like i did... if bonda could do it wit 6 girls + 1 beloved husband, surely i could too... + i dont have a husband to attend to, so i should really be able to... insyaAllah.

ReplyDeleteI agree wt u...budak 7yo, gitu lah ada nya.... But myb bile dia dh start basoh kasot sendri, then definitely he will make sure kasut dia bersih at school..
jgn kata budak lelaki, budak pompuan pun kasut cenggitu. a good time in school... good for him. budak2 pakai kasut hitam here but dok kat fadang fasir ni dgn debu, kasut masing2 mmg menguji kesabaran. Aryssa dah pandai bersihkan & polish her own shoes & kalau rajin abis semua kasut baba dia & dideep nye berkilat

ReplyDeleteira --> hah kalau tanah merah lagi melekat warna! i cuci kasut die in bathroom, skali kn cuci ngan bathroom terus sbb tanah, pasir penuh lantai!
rozie --> mmg sama je sebenarnye. hee. xpe la, tis year puas aku cuci kasut gamaknye. nxt year sila cuci sdiri! tp get ready je lah detergent ntah tahan seminggu je kot die buat main bubbles! ;p

ReplyDeletemine was bloody garang. kitorang x penah blk with shoes like this unless terjatuh. takut wooo singa lapar at home. kecik2 dah kena train basuh sendiri. btw neighbor mak aku yg doctor with no maid tu still basuhkan kasut anak dia yg darjah 3 and 5! aku sgt amazed! but the kids mmg spoilt bab tlg menolong
kay --> mak die xde la rajin mane tp die pon kecik sgt lagi nk buat sume by himself. tahun ni je bg can, nxt year mmg cuci sdiri la jwbnye ;p aku rs by the time aku skolah, parents aku dh x penat sgt sbb kakak2 sume dh besar & dh lived on their own @ hostel. tu derang kurang keje. hehehe. & arwah bak cuci kasut skolah aku smpai i was in standard 6. skali masuk smsj x reti cuci kasut!!!
Deletebdk2 mmg xkan angkat jari kalau parents x suruh la. wit or w'out bibik. ahmad nani skang mmg tau lepas menyerak mesti setel sdiri, kot x aku kutip masuk plastik & humban dlm tong smpah la jwbnye! umur dh 7y, kene la blaja responsibility sket ;)
