stress buster 101

i certainly need to make effort to come here more often.

 

yesterday was a gud day for ahmad nani. he got off the car calmly, stepped into the sch gate, greeted the teacher on duty & walked beside his frens to cls. alhamdulillah.

 

so i figured, if he wud be ok tis morning, i might visit the gym. & he was ok 2day.

 

the gym is located @ level 2. my ofis @ level 5. it's equipped wit toilet & washrooms, wit hot & cold showers, lockers, water dispenser, flat screen tvs - the ususal gym stuff.



 

it was a gud 30m on the treadmill. that was all i could afford. time. time. time.

now i'm contemplating to get an exercise bike @ home. but will i be discipline enuf to fully utilise it, that's a big question there.

i shud come earlier so i could get on the elliptical cross trainer, the exercise bike, the multi gyms and mb pump some iron.

it's not to trim the waistline, it's stress buster 101 :)

had bfast wit a gud fren @ mcD damansara damai on saturday. otw back, gatal nk check our SSF nearby my house area.

mat kecik was more than happy to help wit the trolley. org dh kenyang, dpt pulak mcD hotcakes + iced milo pagi2.

i got these. they were cheapo - square tin (top right) was only 2.30, the 3 round medium ones 5.00 each & the big ones 7++.

operasi cheapo deco started once we got home. 1st was removing the dangling deco light fr our tv rack...

to here ;) it looks much nicer at nite. yes, i dont like too much light, on weekdays we only let the pendaflour light on wen dhani does his homework. pastu we just switch on tis deco light & 2 other floor lamps + some scented candles ;)

2nd was the dining table. i bought new plate mats but they are put underneath the white ones coz they dont look very nice laid there on their own. at 1st i felt like it was quite a waste but on 2nd thot, since the white ones dont really function well as plate mats, they were just perfect to be paired. yeay!

& the center piece is a zen candle holder, a bday gift :)

then for a change o look, i put tis cloth on our book rack, just to add some colors to our solemn living room. it's not even a table runner, it's actually some kind o selendang given by my sister. she got it wen she visited makasar last year. it's made o bugis silk. i love the stripes ;)

that's my reading lamp there surrounded by candle holders. & that tabung needs to be reachable for dhani at all time ;)

our old plate mats. not meant for heavy duty. so wat i did was i glued the strands back 2gether and use them to deco our tv rack ;)

our new aquarium. can u see our pet guppy fantail fish? ;) too bad they died few hours later. mb it was the water or the stones. the aquarium cost 24 only (50% off fr ssf defect corner)

nxt, came the challenging chores. hanging these strands o deco curtain.

these were the old ones for dhani's room.

replaced wit these ;) 2 inggit each. at 1st i thot o buying more tis w'end, but if there are too many, they will get tangled easier, so i've decided to just let them be.

these ones were at my room. also 2 inggit each fr ssf (but out o stock already now).

i replaced them wit these. somehow, the look isnt wat i had visualised. haha. mb i need to add more strands, or make them longer. it just doesnt have the groovy look i actually wanted. these cost 4.70 each.

we also got these tin boxes. i was thinking o storing my cosmetics in here. dhani got 1 also for him, using it to keep the money he's bn saving.

look, he was also bz helping me around the house. attaboy!

* i forgot 'bt these tins. they're used to store tea, milk, milo, coffee. nice & look vr organised, dont they? but they arent air-tight so i stil keep the packaging on.

it's not much, but i love it. cheap? doesnt matter ;)

i look for great bargains. hehe. me being a cheapskate + who doesnt like gud bargains, kan?

my two top websites are groupon & mydeal. so far i'm a very satisfied customer. for our recent kuching trip, i purchased a 3d2n stay @ merdeka palace hotel for RM359 (it was worth RM 1090) that got my kuching frens gaping! same wit our 3d2n at paradise sandy beach resort for our penang trip that cost RM 359 (worth RM 1160) as well as our bandung trip, 4d3n stay at amaris hotel for RM 369 (worth RM 868). to me they were all seriusly terrific deals especially for people like me who refuse to miss holidays but have limited funds. haha. & then there were redbox, spa, car tinting (i purchased for a fren), posters vouchers & many more ;)

it's so easy to burn a big hole in our pockets these days huh. just lie there on our comfy couch, wit laptop or netbook on our laps, or a tablet or hp in our hands, & just click away... the downside o tech, i may say... hehe.

put virtual shopping aside, 50%, 70%, 80% banners / buntings / promos by the road sides or on outlet glass walls are surely inviting & could be a bit hard to resist, no? & also on newspapers & flyers. sigh. why are they doing tis to us? it's sweet torture, that's wat all these bargains are! dont blame them, we are the ones who shud exercise more self control.

last few months, i wud go berserk each time he came home in such dirty pants...

but then a fren tweeted pesanan masyarakat unt moms wit boys: try use bio sinar. it works wonders for sch uniforms. conveniently enuf, it's sold @ dhani's transit & he actually had bn bugging me to try it before but u know the thing wit 7yo kids, they wud pester u to try / buy / eat / find everything! so i sternly refused him.

but then wen tis gud fren o mine mentioned it, i bought a box that vr evening wen i fetched dhani. it cost RM 15 there. but my fren said she got it for RM 13 only. here's how it looks like...

i normally put a scoop for soaking sch uniforms & everything white. & normally it's only wit half pail o water but o course, it depends on how big the size o your load is ;) i do my laundry every 2 days now, so that explains... as u can see, it's sudsy but not excessively. & it smells nice & fresh too.since i use it, i just use bio sinar, i dont pour in clorox anymore. leave the load overnite & machine wash the nxt day. here u put in another scoop for more satisfying result. but i normally just use my ordinary detergent + softener.

& taraaaa... tis was the very same pants he wore the day before... notice the dirt's already gone. the one's left is the real hardcore old one & it was caused by tar some more, so it was harder to remove i suppose...

& look at the collar of his skolah agama uniform... see? not only the dirt's gone, his name marking is almost gone too! heee.

so, no more struggle for me ;) seriusly it took at least 1/2 o my everyday stress. thanks to my gud fren who recommended bio sinar to us. now ahmad nani can play all he wants w'out getting worried o being scolded for dirtying his outfits & i no longer spend at least 15 min almost every nite brushing & washing & rinsing & all . we're both so much happier! = hidup kami lebih bahagia! (wah sounds like a typical testimony for MLM! but i swear, i dont do MLM, ok... i dont even know if it's MLM but then, gud things must be share esp for ladies like us who have to juggle so many things in daily life... o coz we want things that could assist us in simplifying some things so that we can focus on more crucial things ie virtual shopping & hollywood gossips. hehehe)

& now, can bio sinar work its miracle if i were to soak & wash tis not so putih boy? ;p

ps: if u wanna try but u dont know where to get it, i can buy for u. i go to dhani's transit everyday anyway. & tis w'end i wanna try sprinkling bio sinar on the bathroom floor to see if it wud help get  rid o the black patches there...

& i've never failed to check out their website on daily basis. hehe.

tis was my 1st purchase. love it so much! i look decent in it or at least to my own eyes ;)  & i love the material too

my 2nd purchase. a bit too long for me that i hav to wear heels wit it. & too much flare for me & the material's quite heavy.

tis one could have been perfect except for the short length (notice?). but i love the sleeves & the silk-like material, it's light. & the color combo is also nice, kan?

tis one looks very flattering on me. eceh! :).love the orange color & the boat cut neckline & the sleeves as well.

tis was a misjudgment. the material & the design do not complement each oth. it doesnt look heavy in the pix but it looks heavy wen it's worn. 

dont be surprised. told ya i totally love the design. but tis color looks much nicer in pix, i was quite confused wen i 1st opened the parcel. had to check the tag to confirm. the real color is greyish brown.

tis is one sweet blouse. the frills on the shoulder gives it a girlish look. can be worn to the office as well as any outing ;)

the only thing that stops me fr getting tis is the sleeves. wudnt it be a bit too long for me?

(there r 2 other websites wit chic & fashionable collections: tis & tis but i've never purchased anything fr them yet. eyeing quite a few blouses tho ;) i think all 3 websites suit my taste & wit tags that r within my budget for outfits. i dont usually buy tops more than RM 60. ok, stop gaping. seriusly, i dont. i only buy those cost more than RM 60 wen they r on 50% discount ;p)
